Great Shave Kit: The Art of Shaving

Great Shaving system. Really liked the after-shave balm. I'm new to shaving cream using a brush but was impressed with the shave. Would have liked to try their razor too.

I shave everyday, and it can take its toll on my skin. This kit really helped sooth my skin and I got a great close shave! I don't know if I will have time to lather up the "old fashioned" way during the week, but it will be a must on the weekends!

I have never shaved with a brush before, so I find it interesting, especially because I had my girlfriend watching me and reading the instructions, lol. I'm a busy guy, I don't have much free time during the week, so for me that would not be a product that I would use during the week. It's a lot easier for me just to apply a shave cream and use the razor. But, for someone that has a little more time it's worth to try it, It seems to have it a good quality and the fact that it was unscented is a big plus for me. My girlfriend said it was a cute box, that It could be something that she could give to her dad as a gift, and I agree, my first thought when I opened the box was, that its something that my father-in-law would liked it. In general, it's pretty good, I didn't feel too much difference on my skin, but my girl said it was nice and soft, It's a good quality but too many steps for a busy guy like me.

got this kit from #theartofshaving. it was unscented so i didn't have to worry about offending anyone. ha! i'm telling you, i've never had a more enjoyable shave than the first one with this kit. i felt like i was at the barber shop with all the fancy creams that felt soooo good on my skin. who knew? i guess that's why all those women go to the salon all the time. this feels like the guy version of the same sort of thing. i feel, dare i say it?, pampered! if my girl could be jealous, she would be. every piece of this kit was just the best. the fantastic brush to really work things in. the shaving cream to protect my skin, the pre-shave oil to smooth out my skin, the after-shave balm. ALL OF IT. i don't think i've ever intentionally taking this long shaving in my life. i just happily let it sit on my face and really took it all in. this is quality stuff, my brothers. quality. probably the highest quality i've experienced so far. when i'm done with this kit, i'm gonna pick myself up another one. maybe a scented one this time (with my girl's approval). score for me!!!!
