The Art of Shaving has been an important part in my shaving routine for almost two years now. I have tried their Sandalwood line as well as their Unscented line, and I've been happy with all of their products! I highly recommend The Art of Shaving, you won't be disappointed!

Luxury in Shaving

This shaving set opened my eyes to a whole new world of the shaving experience. I felt like I was feeling a luxury shave in my own home. I only wish I had the knowledge to get the most use out of this amazing product.

A newbie to the Art of Shaving

I used to be the quick shave kind of guy. I would use some cheap shaving cream out of a can or my electric razor without any after-shave balm. I have now moved into the world of a great, close shave. I have used the Art of Shaving kit now for over a week shaving every other day. I work at home a lot so there isn't a need to shave every day. The kit came in a nicely packed package with pre-shave oil, shaving cream, a brush and after-shave balm. The products are high quality. The oil helps prevent nicks I would normally get from using a new blade and lets you go against the grain on your face for a closer shave. I like the shaving cream as it not too heavy and is easy to wash out of the razor. The after-shave balm is 100 times better than Alqua Velva and is refreshing for your skin. Overall, The Art of Shaving is a great product for your face and should be given to sons when they start shaving so that they learn the correct way to shave.

Packaging was better than the product

When I received The Art of Shaving Full Size Shaving Kit I was highly impressed with the packaging. The nice box it came in, the bottles the products were in, the nice shaving cream brush, it seemed like a very expensive and fancy product.
Then I tried the product. I started with the Pre-Shave oil. A nice product. Went on fairly easy. The next product was the Shaving Cream. When I put the product on my face, it felt like I was spreading glue all over. It was very thick and sticky. I used my regular razor like I always do, and began. The first thing I noticed was that I could only get about 1/2 way through a shave stroke before my razor was gummed up with product. And then I tried to rinse off the razor. What a mess. Even with the hottest of water, it was very difficult to get the razor blade clean. I continued to shave, hoping that it would get better, but ended up stopping after just one side of my face. I didn't even try the After Shave Balm because I was so frustrated with how the product had performed up to that point.
I haven't given out any of the sample packets that came with my BzzKit because I don't believe in endorsing a product that I wouldn't use myself.
And the only reason I gave this product a 1 star review was because of the quality of the packaging of the Art of Shaving Bzz Kit.
