This bag is well made as are all Hobo products. Good workmanship, nice leather, rich color. It was ordered to see if it would work with a particular outfit. It was too casual for a silk pantsuit. It could be a clutch or crossbody bag so versatile.

Prossweet, yet functional
This bag is the answer to my recent prayers! I got the bag in the forest green color and when it arrived, the packaging itself was so sweetly detailed that it quite a bit surprised me. I had never purchased from Hobo before. I even saved what I thought was an adorably artistic product 'tag.' OK. Here goes: the Daria cross-body holds all my essentials for a bag this small! My keys, lipstick and mirror fit in the major compartment nicely. The bag has card slots in the sweetly lined interior. The zip around hidden compartment neatly stores, not readily used, but emergency (flashlight and meds) items or change. The back pocket will accommodate bills or letters. I received compliments the very first day wore to my hospital. My previous bags were either so big and open, or the too small the opposite, that makes me so pleasantly aghast at this little marvel with lustrous leather!

Great but…

I love the flexibility of this bag. I have this bag in blue and ordered it in the grey. With the zippered pocket, it really can hold quite a bit if you need it to. I usually carry it as a small clutch but having the removable chain is great for times when I need hands free. Its compact size has really forced me to reduce what I think I "need" to carry around.
My only complaint is that the first 2 grey bags I purchased came already scratched up. I know that with this leather, it will eventually get the worn look, which is fine depending on the color, but I didn't like that it arrived already looking worn.

I've been looking for a black purse with silver hardware for a while now, one that was small (and preferably a shoulder bag but for some reason that style has completely disappeared in all but the biggest purses). I lonly found 4 at Nordstroms in my price range, <$200. Strange silver jewelry is so popular but purses have predominantly gold hardware. I narrowed it down to this one based on style. I'm really glad I went with this one. It's super cute and versatile. I almost don't have clothes that wouldn't go with this, its not too casual, too trendy or too professional. It's not much bigger than my wallet which I loved because my iphone fit perfectly inside and I always said if it just fit my keys, it would be perfection. Well, that's about what this purse is, only it can be a wallet or a purse. Genius. I was just noticing today my wallet is getting pretty scratched up so this is killing two birds with one stone. The only thing is the strap is too long and I'm going to have to have some links removed. I wonder if nordstroms will do that for me? They tailor after all. These purses are suppose to hit at your hip and this hits below my butt, I'm 5'4".
