My sister has been wearing this style for years. She buys a pair every other year and she got me into these too this year. Definitely a must have for winter months! I don’t think I’ll ever go without these again.
I rated these slippers 4 stars only because unlike the pair they replaced, the footbed is not removable. The shearling is very thick and wants to “bunch up” below my toes. This is only a problem with one foot as I have nerve problems and arthritis in that foot. I was able to remove the liner and trim where I needed to, to alleviate that issue, in my old pair. Everything else about these slippers is great...comfort, durability and quality craftsmanship. I would highly recommend!
It was finally time to replace my other UGG slippers after wearing them daily for the past 8 years. I took advantage of the sale and ordered the same Ansley slipper that I was used to. Based on comments and recommendations, I ordered a size 9 which is 1/2 size up from my 8 1/2 shoe size. While these slippers are so soft and full of wool, I slip out of them from the back. Going up a size did not work for me, maybe because I have thinner ankles. You cannot go wrong with these comfortable slippers that will last you years, if you do not wear them outside. I will re-order a size 8, which my old ones are.
