After reading the reviews I was hoping for a great product as Clarins hardly ever disappoints. Unfortunately this one left a harsh chemical smell on my skin, most likely will be returned!

Incredible sun protection with a strong scent

The short and sweet version: Works very well for my sun-sensitive skin, and I am so happy to have found this product. However, the scent is very strong. I'm not sensitive to scents, but I am a little self-conscious by how strong the perfume is. I'm still going to keep using it religiously because of how well it works, but I really wish they'd come out with a non-scented or lightly-scented version.
The longer version: I've developed a sensitivity to the sun, especially on my chest. I've tried layering on all the usual drug store sun screen that works for the rest of my body, but my chest would still burn and a rash would always develop no matter how frequently I reapplied the protection (I'm talking 20 minutes of standing outside in the shade with even a little bit of my chest exposed). I decided to try this sun screen, figuring I'd work my way through Nordstrom's collection of sun care products, and I am amazed by how well it works. It's very easy to apply, doesn't leave residue like other lotions I've tried, and as long as I remember to reapply it every few hours (as you should with all sun screen), I can stay out in the sun for as long as want. The scent kills me, though. The best way I can describe it is that it smells like very very strong floral deodorant.
I really like the facial sunscreen that I decided to try body, however I didnt like that it made me feel sticky all day. I am returning it.

This SPF is amazing!! Very gentle and hydrating. My daughter has the most sensitive skin ever!! This is a product I can use on her without worrying her about delicate skin being irritated.
