I bought this bag upon seeing my girlfriend carrying it. It looked good on her, but it was just too boxy and big for me. I have always wanted a backpack style designer bag and was excited that Marc Jacobs has one, but this just does not look good on me, therefore returned it.

Proschic, lightweight, fashionable, practical
I have back problems, and once I hit my 40s I couldn't carry my shoulder bags as easily as I used to do. I needed practicality and prettiness all in one!
I use this as an everyday purse bag. I've tried to scale down as far as bag contents go, but it never works. The minute I stop carrying something with me, it never fails that the next day I will need it. Necessities aside, I like having stashing room for when I run errands. This is the best one I could find that was lightweight, durable, had lots of room and outside pockets. I can throw my iPad, notebooks, etc. in it, no problem.
Best of all, I can still have the chic-ness of a 'designer' bag... having schlepped the standard school backpacks from high school to grad school, I was loath to carry anything that reminded me of those days! I needed a grown-up bag that held my life and didn't break my back (or the bank) and this fits all the criteria.

It's great, I ordered Black and it goes with everything. I love it, it was expensive.. but hey it's Marc Jacobs
