Prosvolumizing

This mascara is just ok. Nothing special, I found it to be kind of clumpy and it smudged quite a bit. Believe me, save your money and buy YSL. IT IS BY FAR THE BEST MASCARA I'VE EVER USED!

Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Mascara

Prosvolumizing, defining, lengthening, smudges.

I normally use Bobbi Brown Defining Mascara because it never smudges but thought that I would give this a try as it promises a greater volumising and lengthening effect. However it smudges terribly on my skin - even if applied only to the upper lashes. On the only day that I wore this to work, I attended a meeting with work colleagues oblivious to the two large racoon smudges beneath each eye. (Ouch!) .I purchased both the Black and Plum and will be definitely be returning both. Please note that I have very long eyelashes which do reach up and down to touch the skin around my eyes, so perhaps this is the problem. However, according to the Chanel consultant in my local department store, I have 'hot' skin and need to shop carefully for mascaras that don't melt and then smudge. My experience therefore may not apply to everyone who tries this (otherwise very beautiful lengthening, volumising and defining) Bobbi Brown mascara.

Best Mascara

For me to say this is the best mascara is saying alot. I have tried almost every mascara under the sun. I have tried cheap mascara to the most expensive mascaras in the department stores. I have tried even the natural and mineral mascaras. Long wearing and water proof. I have had problems with smudge proof mascaras smudging and flake proof mascara flaking. I have tried mascaras that are too heavy and make my long lashes flatten after using my lash curler. Mascara has been that thorn in my side for years. I did have a mascara that I loved once, but the formula had been changed and it wasn't the same after. I had tried all the mascaras from Bobbi Brown and they were nice, but didn't quite reach the high bar I was looking for. I have tried other brands that had this rubber spiked applicator and again didn't cut it for me, so I was skeptical about trying this one. I was amazed. The product grabs all the lashes and makes them big. And it doesn't smudge or flake off. Which is huge for me. I personally love this mascara.
