I've been wearing this brand of shoe since 2002 and they are proven to be comfortable and durable. This model also offers support which makes the wear even more comfortable for people who tend to over pronate. I still have a pair of Mesa Ventillator II's (similar model) that I purchased in 2002 that just won't quit. The soles are hardly worn and the body of the shoe has held up well even though they have been in the washing machine numerous times. The shoes have actually outlasted two pair of shoe laces. I'm sure this model will hold up just as well.
