Clunky boot with poor sole material.

Don't like these boots at all. The box toe on these boots is very wide and rounded. I'm a slim pant kind of guy so these boots just look huge and clunky with such pants. Probably best suited for relaxed kind of pant/look which I don't have or like so these just sit in my closet unused. Another thing I hate about these is the crepe sole. Outside of Clark desert boots I don't know of anyone else who uses this kind of sole and there is a good reason for it:
1) The sole is sticky until it gets enough crud on it 2) The sole as it gets worn down will produce sticky crud balls (very much like rubber cement) on the sides of the sole which looks like boot boogers/horrible, and you will become preoccupied picking them off the sides. 3) When you step on pebbles or rocks you will feel them. These are definitely not an off the sidewalk kind of boot. In my opinion they are neither a fashion boot.....so at least for me these boots have no utility.
Super stylish and versatile for my husband who needs to dress up a bit work but also look great with jeans and a flannel. He had to break them in a bit but very happy!
I have a lot of trouble finding shoes. I was worried about an online purchase. I know of Nordstrom’s reputation for customer service so I gave it a shot. I had a great experience and the fit is perfect, very happy
