I wanted to love this product...

but I just can't. I bought this, thinking it would be perfect to use for vacations, weddings and outtings in damp weather. What's worse than having your make up run, right? When I first tried this activator, I used it on an older tightline eyeliner, so that if I didnt' like it, the whole thing isn't ruined. First time, it worked great. No difference in color or consistancy, plus it doesn't dry out as fast - giving plenty of application time. Everytime since then, the color is faded, very faded. I tried using a new tightline, using a freshly cleaned and dried brush, even a new brush... nothing helpled. I'll be returning this the next time I'm in Nordstrom.

I love this product as it sets my eyeliner instantly. My eyeliner was constantly running to corners of my eyes now it sets and stays put! I would highly recommend this product.
I have extremely oily or hard to manage eyes that smudges any eyeliner, mascara, shadows close to the waterline. It doesn't matter if it's waterproof, smudge proof, etc., it will smudge or run off. I have tried almost all possible recommendations however my difficult eyes will find a way to make me look like a panda. I gave this product a 4 stars b/c of the price for a small bottle. I find that it works extremely well with the Laura Mercier tightliner. I've read reviews where people found that the tightliner works fine enough with water and it's not necessary to purchase this. Those users are very fortunately but for me, the only way for the tightliner to work and have staying power is with this activator. So far, this has worked great. The activator gives the liner a rich and smooth texture and makes application nice and smooth. Just make sure to not put too much or too little. I find that a drop and a half works really well for me. I am almost done with my first bottom and this is actually my backup. Will definitely purchase again. A must have in my eye makeup routine.
Happened to find this on the Nordstrom website as a suggested item so I tried it. It makes the eyeliner last the entire day and evening as though it was just put on. I'll never go back to just using water!
