I think this foundation may work for individuals with oilier skin as its got that mattified finish and literally lasts all day. For me and my dry skin though, it was just disasterous; it clung to my dry patches for dear life accentuating every unsightly flake. It offered a decent medium coverage but oddly seemed to really highlight the pores around my nose and cheeks. Also, the product itself drys and settles so quickly, it makes application challenging. I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but a very disappointing foundation for my skin type.

I like how this foundation can be any where from a sheer (mix with moisturizer) to a full coverage finish. Even though it says that it's a cream foundation I don't really think it's too hydrating since it kind of had a matte finish. Although it lasted all day! I was surprised at how smooth it looked all day and it never clumped up. I do recommend to get a foundation match in store since it's hard to pick a color online. I wish this formula had better shade selections but I'm able to even out the shade with my powder.
This is hands down the most beautiful foundation in the world. When I wear it I get one compliment after another about how beautiful my skin is. And I am 68! As this so expensive I have decided to use a less expensive foundation for everyday and save the Cle de Peau for special times.
