I purchased the Galaxy Grey infant insert about a month ago with my Ergobaby carrier. My daughter is 2 months old, 13 lbs and fits well into the insert. I will probably soon be just using the pillow insert once she gets a little stronger and bigger. I do like that the insert helps position and support her legs/ hips and neck while she was a little baby and that it can "grow with her". I have only used this in the fall months, but I could see how it might get toasty in the hot summer months. Overall I'm happy I purchased this product, because I think it's imperative for a proper fit in the Ergobaby carrier for newborns.
I bought this for a baby shower. I haven't gotten a reply yet if she liked it. So I cannot comment about it. I hope she does 'coz I spent a lot just to mail it to her.
I decided to invest in an ergo since it's my first baby and I'm so glad I did! The infant insert is a must have up to about5 months of age, since the carrier is pretty wide, compared to other baby carriers.
