I worried when I started putting them on that I wouldn't get the waistband over my hips. But I did (not such a struggle) and these are awesome leggings. I'm 5' 9", mostly legs, and these leggings are more than long enough. They seem to be very well made. Will definitely purchase more.

Control Top Various Color to Choose From

I love the point that this pair of leggings has control top inside the wide waistband. I just want to give 4 stars only because the waist (the edge part) is not flexible enough for my natural wide waist :-) if your natural waist is smaller than 25.5", this pair will work just fine. I like everything about this pair, there are many colors to choose from. I ordered "Slate grey" I think this color looks great but it could fade out quicker, so highly recommend to order other color like black or camo (my first thought to get camo, but ended up ordering the slate) I am 5'2" ordered size Medium, fit perfectly.

These leggings are made from heavy fabric and run large in the waist so that the 'control' function can't work. The thighs are tight and walk down one's legs so that it is necessary to pull them up constantly. The length for an average height woman leaves about 5 extra inches that must either be pulled up around the very top or bunched at the ankle. The very antithesis of the comfort offered by the brand Splendid. I was looking for a brown option and I only wish Splendid had one!
