Sheen not good for going out, OK for working out

I'm 5'3" 130 lbs and have a boy figure. These leggings fit just fine, they're thick and stretchy...but I ordered black and they have a high sheen factor. I can't picture wearing these out...either with a long top or under a skirt, they're too sheeny. Might be good to work out in? But i have work out clothes...so returning item.

I am a huge fan of Spanx's Cotton High Waist Leggings. But, at $72 a pop, they can be a little too expensive for my budget. Plus, those only come in black. I had heard of this brand before, but I was a bit skeptical it wouldn't smooth my middle area out as well as Spanx. I wanted Navy leggings to coordinate with some green/navy striped items in my closet so I took a chance and ordered. I couldn't be more pleased. Not only are these leggings smooth and the control top firm, but they are super comfortable and very flattering. My only gripe is they are a tad long on me. I have to fold the ends up and under about an inch for these to be truly ankle length (I'm 5'4"). These babies smooth my gut without making me feel like I'm where a corset. I highly recommend. I hope they will make these in other colors soon.

This is the best pair of leggings!!! The thickness is just right (i.e., it's not see-through) and hides all the bulges in your hip and tummy areas. much like wearing spanx but less the cost! I wish they had these in petite though. If you're short like me (I'm 5 ft 1 in), these are a tad long and will bunch up in the ankle area. but if you wear it with boots in fall/winter, then you can just do away with this. otherwise, you can spend the extra $ to get it shortened.

Have been looking for a new "go-to" legging for the fall. I have been (mostly) happy with my Spanx leggings, but they roll and the material can become uncomfortable. I prefer tummy control as I have two young children. I have to say I LOVE these! I am late twenties and have a hard time finding controlling leggings that look my age. The material is not only completely opaque, but it's COMFORTABLE and does not slide. I sized up (for comfort) so I'd give the control a medium in rank. Will definitely be buying a few pair!
