When I first received BLACK KARAT I looked at the color and said, "it's way too gold". I fully expected it to be a smokey black. Originally I planned to sent it back but had read the reviews of those who loved it. It goes on smoothly and not gold at all. If anything, I would call it a smokey grey-ish color. Not so dark as to be for evenings only since I use it daily. I have Hazel eyes and it makes them pop. Give it a try...
I 1st bought the Black Karat when it was 1 of 3 in the case. It came w/ metallic gold & green. These all complement each other. I use a base on my eyelids so they show up better & no flaking onto my face. The Petal Pink is better than you would think. It's not too light. Nice iridescence. I see the blue & the Terra Cotta now & will order them, knowing how great the product is. I wish there were more colors. I want them all!

the Ballet Pink is a great "go to" shade to use with darker lid crease colors. I seldom use up a product and this is my second order of this product! My local store was out of this product so it was being sent to my office. When I had not received it by the time my e-mail survey was asking me how I liked it someone actually listened and got another in the mail within a couple of days. I was impressed that someone actually listened and made good the error. Nordstrom definitely gets a "thumbs up"on customer service with this incident.
