I purchased the Black Karat and the Petal Pink. I really wasn't sure about the Black Karat but after reading the other reviews, I decided to give it a try. It is perfect -- the color is very subtle and while kind of sparkly, it is not metallic. It is kind of an olive green color with gold in it. I love it! The pink is also very pretty!
I'm disappointed that Laura Mercier retired this particular eye shadow. I have enjoyed using this product over the years. Please consider bringing it back . I have lots of compliments especially the violet sky color. It stays on all day.
Black Karat is my favorite LM baked eye color. It is my everyday go-to when doing my eyes. It adds a little pop and gives my blue eyes a nice smoky shimmer.

Color is very nice however when you use this product Laura Merciereyeshadow it does flake all over your face that part I don't like it should and for what I paid for it I don't have those problems when I buy a cheaper brand at CVS
