The product is very thick, I suppose because it's 'sunscreen'. It is quite rich for the skin, and I haven't noticed this clarifying or mattifying it speaks about. The best part about this is the SPF, which I will keep for summer days. Otherwise this product is a flop in my opinion.

This sunscreen is too heavy & greasy to be mattifying -- it didn't even dry to a matte finish for me. I even went an extra step to use a mattifying primer before this -- yet that didn't even help. I think this is just overpriced sunscreen. I don't think I'll be re-purchasing this. Although, I did give it 2-stars for the beneficial key ingredients, sun protection qualities & large size.

Prosabsorbs easily, medium-weight
Doesn't make my face as oily as other sunscreens, but doesn't mattify either. So my face has a shine but not overly greasy to the touch. Doesn't cause breakouts. I'll give it another week to see if I'll return it.

Prosnon-greasy, lightweight, absorbs easily
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE this sunscreen! It is one the most fabulous oil absorbing light weight lotion I have used. Helps me look matte all day, does not feel heavy and really prevents break outs. I am so happy with this purchase!
