I have big calves and from the other reviews... it was somewhat mixed in that they fit or that they didn't fit. Mine are 16"-16.5" and it's a bit snug. I really suggest people that have bigger calves than that to not order these. Even when I wear them, I can tell that if my calves were smaller I would be able to pull them up a tiny bit more.
It looks like the whole backing is stretchy but in the back only the upper part is just the stretchy material... more than half of the back is the stretchy material with the boot material.
Overall though, I love these! I have them in black and cognac. The cognac is a beautiful color. They are also so comfortable! Although Nordstrom said to order this 1/2 a size a bigger... it fit true to size for me. Great buy!

i bought them a couple months ago, and i love them, i get compliments everywhere i go. a couple things tho is that they scrape up pretty easily in the front, and part of the heel of it is tearing.. if they werent on FREAKING BACKORDER, i would just exchange for a pair where the heel isnt rippin. other then that... i adore!!

I just bought these boots this past weekend and I am in love! i didn't think this late in the season I'd find such a great pair. It's hard for me to find boots that fit my calves and these are just perfect! I had an old pair of Chinese Laundry boots that I loved too but needed to be replaced. So excited about these boots! Not only are they stylish, they are very comfy. I got them in black and am thinking about buying another pair in the cognac. I would highly recommend these boots!
