I bought these boots in October and LOVED them. The color is perfect (brown) and I got so many compliments on them. I could get even get over the fact that the boots were way too wide to actually wear as "over the knee" boots like advertised because the leather would slouch down so bad. So I just wore them with the leather folder over on the top as my everyday winter boots. However, it is now December and I've already had to throw them away. Both of the rubber soles on heel of the shoe have completely worn down and fallen off. If I try to wear them now, the metal under the missing rubber sole clanks on the ground and the shoe is very slippery. They were an adorable shoe to start with, but the quality of the rubber must be very poor to have worn down in only 3 months. This has not happen to other winter boots I've owned. Won't buy this brand again, which is sad because the shoes start out so cute.

super soft leather (although thin) and great color (taupe/slate). I am short (5,2), and these are the perfect length. they are are great with tights/skinny jeans.

I bought these boots for my birthday in the slate colour. I am a size 12 so I was happy to see them back in stock shortly after Thanksgiving. The boots and packaged folded in half, if that tells you anything about the texture of the leather. Its very soft, reminds you of buttersoft leather. There was a seam in the boot from the fold, but once on my feet, it didn't show. The boots ran pretty much true to size but were a bit narrow to me. They were difficult for me to get my foot in because the ankle reinforcement thingy (idk what its called) found in all tall boots is not very sturdy and collapses when you try to put your foot in. It feels like it may be made of cardboard in contrast to a pair of Nine West tall boots I purchased last year where the reinforcement in the ankle was made of a harder material and more sturdy. I just know that I need to wear these boots @ a time when I can keep them on for a long period of time because they are a beast to put on! I wouldn't recommend wearing when your shopping and know your going to try Once I managed to get the boot on it looks good, not cheap looking to me @ all. The calf is pretty wide and has elastic @ the top for added comfort as you walk. As for the slate colour, I was expecting more of a light to medium shade of grey, but this boot is more of a taupe colour. I will be able to pair these boots up with pretty much anything due to it being such a neutral shade, but the colour is really different than what is shown in the picture on the site. Overall, these are a good pair of boots and the price is good considering my shoe size. There a keeper.
