Awesome to Boots

I have been reluctant in the past to invest in boots of this style due to their general "clodhopper" image, but the fine leather, craftsmanship and subtle styling won me over. I have jonsed To Boot New York for some time, and these are my first. Taking the advise Nordstrom offers, I ordered a 7.5, given that I wear an 8 in everything from Cole Haan to Ferragamo. I had to return and order a 7, which could even be a little smaller. I'd recommend ordering a whole size down. Nordstrom, as I've come to expect, made the exchange so easy I couldn't resist ordering a second pair in Black. Bottom line: Great To Boots!

Prossoft and great, perfect fitting, super comfy

My first high end shoes...so I may be bit biased, but lovely pair! I got them in store today. They are about half size bigger. My size is 9.5 and I got 9. Perfect fitting, foot hugging boots. The color, shine is as it looks here (the brown color). The leather is amazingly soft and supple. The leather is bit thinner than others I checked (e.g. AE Dalton etc). Dalton or Red Wing are much sturdier shoes than this but they are also heavier. This one is good for everyday office use...lighter weight, but not weaker shoe. There is no break-in time required like others I mentioned...this one is soft from day 1. Hope they are durable also.

Prosdress boot
First of all let me say that I received my boots today and am pretty chuffed. They are beautiful. Being a 'boot guy' trapped in an office setting they were perfect for me. I got the black pair #cannot speak to the brown# and they do look as they do in the picture. Better even..and the sale price made the purchase a no-brainer that I am very happy with. I intend to wear the heck out of these. That being said...
I would recommend ordering a full size down. To Boot New York runs HUGE. To get a feel try on a pair of shoes from the company if you can find them. Others have stated to order half size down worked for them... I would go full. Just my 2 cents.
A minor complaint would be the tab on the back of the boot. It sticks out and will catch the back cuff of your pants and hold them up. I'm sure it serves some purpose but I could live without it. Other than that they're perfect and what you would expect. A wonderful old school dress boot. Just be mindful of the sizing so you don't have to make a return.

Excellent one. Feels, looks, "works" fine. Little larger, but if you read the reviews, you'd order appropriate size, like I did and was very satisfied. Great one with classy look.
