I ordered two different sizes of this dress. It runs large so I downsized. The larger size fell longer in the front hem. The smaller size fit perfectly. I am 5' 4" and will need 2 1/2" heels. No zippers-just pull over your head for an easy fit. I got the plum which is a deep purple/red. I wish it came in blue. Top with beads and sequins do not itch.

I ordered this dress for my daughter's September wedding. I found this dress to be very comfortable. One reviewer commented that the beading was itchy. I haven't found this to be an issue. It is very flattering without needing extra undergarments to 'help' maintain the lines of the dress. I don't feel like I will need to be aware of how I'm standing or sitting to look good in this dress. Another reviewer commented on this not being flattering for her arms. My arms are not toned and look like those of someone 55+ but they do not look flabby or big in this dress.
I ordered a size 8P because that was all that was available at the time. This was long for me (5'1") and also long in waist-length (if I grabbed the shoulders and raised it a couple inches the dress draped closer to how the model is wearing it). A couple beads fell off when I tried the dress on but I couldn't find any loose threads. . .??? I was going to have it altered at Nordstrom because the dress wasn't available in a 6P UNTIL today! I ordered the 6P and will let you know how that fits - once received.

This dress is beautiful and I will be wearing it at my daughters wedding this fall. The beading is very pretty and the color dark and rich more like an eggplant. It runs long .

The purple color is a little dark, but still nice. It's very comfortable especially considering the fairly intense beading on the top half. (The beading does not make it feel heavy to wear however.) The neckline is flattering and not too revealing. I liked how it looked on my rounder figure. At my 5' height and wearing a flat shoe, I might need to have it shortened a bit but it would be fine with a little higher heel.
