I loved the eye cream portion of this product. It makes the area around my eye soft and seems to smooth out the wrinkles. The veil portion of this product did not work well for me. I'm not sure if it was too light but it seemed to exaggerate puffiness and under eye bags. I was hoping it would work since the veil has added sunscreen.
When I first purchased, I thought you'd be able to split the two items and quickly discovered they're a package deal. Have found the eye cream to be absolutely the BEST and only use it at night. Love the concealer and use in tiny amounts to hide small flaws and it looks amazing. Cannot figure out why they put these two together so I keep the concealer in my make-up drawer (or travel bag) and keep the eye cream covered with foil separately with my other moisturizing products. Both are excellent.
I was able to get 5 samples of this product before investing in full size. Hands down the cream is the superior side of duo. The concealer is very thick, matte and tricky to use. I attempted to use it as foundation but it is occlusive and I broke out. I would only do the upper and inner eye as this concealer is far too drying for the lower orbital eye area. The idea is that you combine the two but frankly you are better off using the spf 28 Lancome OR an eye gel like alba Green Tea and sunglasses and then JUST use the cream at night. The cream is astonishing. I do not believe in eye creams. I have zero crows feet and the eye area of a 20 year old because of how careful I've been not over loading that area with heavy creams. I also was using eye spfs ages before they were widely available. Lancome made one of the first which was a little compact with a medium tinted eye cream, then later a few with concealer in them. Many high end anti-ageing eyecreams do things that my eye area simply does not need and are too harsh. I am starting to get the faintest few tiny lines so have started to look for peptide formulas which only come in cream formulations. and this has erased ANY signs of age. A bad scratch under my eye was healed within a few days as this is a wonderful peptide formulation. Cons are that this REALLY perfumey. You will get used to it but you must keep it away from the inner eye. It will work it's way in. The product LASTS too just use very little as it goes a long way.

I've tried most of the anti-aging Lancome eye creams and really can't tell the difference in results except for the escalating price points. Most seem to erase fine lines and wrinkles. This eye cream was good, and I loved the smooth texture of the concealer, which lasts a long time. However, after steady use, the hinge on the concealer top broke and snapped off, leaving the concealer exposed. I used up the eye cream faster (day and night) than the concealer (day only), so I scooped it out and stored in a mini container. I love a value set but at this price, Lancome should have sturdier packaging for a daily use product. I'd rather get an eye cream and concealer separately. Will not repurchase.
