I have a 5 and 3/4" wrist so have never worn a "chunky" sport watch. This fits perfectly and the band has conformed to my wrist over two weeks. The vibrant "grape" color is a blast and the on-line manual for setting this is very helpful. If you like to read directions (and I do), it's really fun to fiddle with this:-) If I didn't already own a pink watch, I'd order another of this in the pink!

A Smile on my Granddaughter's Face

Prosabsolutely hip, unusual
I noticed that my 11 year old grand daughter was wearing her younger sister's wristwatch. Shea did not have a watch of her own. I asked her what kind of watch she would like to have.
She gave me three hints: PURPLE, digital and edgy-hip. It was not easy to fulfill her request until I went to Nordstrom.com . I had scoured the internet previously and looked at over 400 watches--none meeting Shea's anticipated expectations.
Nordstroms website made it super easy for me to narrow my search. I happened upon the Casio 'Baby-G Tropical Paradise' Digital Watch, and I had a feeling that "this was it". Shipping was free, and the watch was delivered in approximately 4 four days. Shea opened the watch on Friday, and her eyes were wide with wonder and happiness. Not only was it exactly what she wanted, but the lime green touches made her smile even more.

Love the look of the look of the watch. Was disappointed because the numbers are not as bright as shown in the picture. In fact during the day I found it hard to see the time at all. Of course at night, you could use the light function to see the time. i returned it.

after having a bad experince with a white and pink baby g. i wanted to try it again and this hit it right on the spot! i love this watch! the purple even has a sparkle u cant see in the picture. the green is also so perfect. im very satisfied and will get more g shock watches. planning on getting my boyfriend one for his birthday.
