Lovely booties!

I ordered a pair of these 1/2 size larger than I normally wear, in my normal width (medium). I wanted a short boot to go with camel dress pants and my brown bag. The cognac color is gorgeous--the contrast of the darker band at the top with the body of the boot is really nice! The fit is great--despite other reviews, I think the padding of the sole is fine. I have problematic feet--bunions, pes planus, and unstable ankles, and these work great! The height of the heel is perfect for me. I haven't worn them yet, but I am looking forward to it. I highly recommend them. The construction is well worth the price.

These 2" heel booties, with a wider heel for substantial support and balance, are all smooth leather w/removable insole and come in extended widths. I have purchased them for walking while wearing my toe socks to protect my feet from blistering. The boots are elegantly and simply styled---classic. The WW width I ordered specially for wear during my fall and winter travels, when one walks way more than one believes possible, or even planned for. I am proud to buy a product made in the USA, and well made, at that.

I like Munro shoes, but I have a bit of a high arch, and these are not a good fit. Shortly after I put them on the arch and ball of my foot are quite painful. If you have a high arch at all, you might want to steer away from these.

This is a nice bootie, especially for the "not so young" who might have foot issues as I do. They are comfortable and look great with tights or leggings. The heel is not too high but still has enough height to elongate your leg. I wear an 8W and found them to be pretty much true to size. I would recommend them.
