When I first took them out of the box, I was disappointed to see that the leather on the fold-over cuffs was distressed looking and the boot/foot leather was regular with a sheen. Thinking I had gotten a defective pair, I returned them to the store. But, in looking at the different pairs on display, the distressed look on the fold-over was intentional. You just couldn't tell from the online photo. So, I kept them, and they are very comfortable. They'll get worn quite a bit when the weather changes.

Too snug for me

My feet are size 8M in nearly every brand of shoes. I would like to like these boots because they're made in the USA and have a reputation for comfort.... and were also very popular and hard to get during the Anniversary Sale. But these were much too snug on my heel. I also have a high instep and it was hard to get these on my feet. After all that, my 24 yo daughter thought they were dowdy! So I didn't try to get an 8W. I previously tried a pair of Munro loafers and they were also uncomfortably snug.

These were some of the most uncomfortable boots I have ever tried. No cushion and not very good quality considering the price. I returned them.

Cute for pants and dresses

These are darling and really soft. Great for pants and with skirts/dresses if you want to wear them with tights Really stylish . Leather is very soft and easy to put on. Slightly tight in the toes but the soft leather makes them easy to stretch.
