I have had problems with my feet and now can only wear very comfortable shoes. THe footpad in these boots is cushioned and the leather, like the other reviews state is butter soft. Great looking boot too. I have a medium width foot and these were a little snug in the toe box when I first put on but then stretched out to be comfortable as I wore them the first day. Very pleased and will consider purchasing other Gentle Souls shoes.
This boot is kind of pricey but worth every penny. Great quality comfortable and stylish.

Expensive, yes. But so worth the price. Extraordinarily comfortable and the only boot I feel confident wearing in our snowy and icy Wisconsin winters. Softer with every wear. With a lug sole that'll never wear down.
