The sizes seem to run on the big side. I am normally a 10p. The store didn't have petites available so tried on a similar dress by the same maker in a regular 6 and based on that fit I ordered a 8 petite.. The dress fits wonderfully-not snug-flows nicely. I also like the slight weightiness of it due to the beading. I know I'll be comfortable at my daughter's wedding. Consider ordering one size smaller.

Well packed and protected for shipping, my dress arrived in perfect condition! I was amazed from the moment I laid eyes on it! This is a "GORGEOUS" dress!!! I decided to order a size larger then my normal size because my measurements were between a 14 and 16 (I normally wear a 14). I purchased it to wear to an evening wedding and I had so many compliments!

I ordered this dress for ballroom dancing occasions. I am 62 years young and a classic pear shape (small bust, generous hips). I absolutely loved the picture of this dress, but I feared it would never fit my proportions. I went with Nordstrom's True Fit recommendation. The dress arrived within the week, packaged nicely. I've just now tried it on (saying a little prayer). What a happy surprise to find that it fit perfectly! I had such fun practicing in it that I didn't want to take it off. Can't wait for the occasions to wear it out on the town. This was a great first experience with Nordstrom's online shopping.

Beautiful and didn't realize it was beaded so much. Love it! Has a bit of a stretch so it is very comfortable and rather light on wearing. I am very happy with this purchase.
