I have been looking everywhere for a simple cognac boot without a lot of detailing and this one fit the bill. I am usually inbetween a 7 1/2 and 8 which was true for this boot - 7 1/2 was a bit snug in the toe bed width and the 8 was a bit large. The 8 made the ankle part much larger too so I went with the 7 1/2 and they did end up stretching just enough. I like the color online a little more than in person. The boot is actually a little lighter - more of a honey/cognac that the rich brown/cognac my monitor shows. I'm not sure why they call this one "chocolate" because it's definitely not a chocolate brown - online or in person.

I loved the quality and simple design of these boots, but the calf was way too large and made my legs look like logs (i have shorter legs so I'm sensitive to boots that are too tall and wide around the calves). the color was a little orange-ish but was still nice. i would have kept these if the shape was a straighter in the calve and not so shaped.

I bought these in both cognac and black just in case and ended up keeping both! They are the most comfortable boots I own and I have A LOT! These not only look amazing but feel amazing too! They are now my favorite boots and for sure my new go-to boots. I have worn them with skinny jeans and also leggings. I am a small size 4 and they fit perfect. I have wider feet and they were just right with normal socks on. I was hesitant of the stacked heel at first but gave it a try as my sister recommended it. The stacked heel is nice and high so it makes it less bulky looking. The leather is buttery soft and feels amazing. I've worn these all day at work with absolutely *no* discomfort. The shaft height and circumference were also perfect. I'm 4'10.5" and boots usually hit me closer to the knees but these don't :) I like the cognac color better than the black. I have 4 leather knee boots from Sudini and these are way more comfortable. The leather is softer and the fit is much better. Give these a try, I promise you won't be disappointed.

I LOVE these boots. Today was the first day I wore them and they are so comfortable. I'm 5'1 and the boots came up to just below my knees. And they are a bit wide on the top, but this is because I have very thin legs. Overall, these boots are chic, classic and the brown color goes with almost everything. Good quality leather, finely made - an all around good purchase for me. I think I'm going to get the black ones too since I love these a lot!
