I am so, SO happy with this purchase. These boots are everything you could want-beautiful color (I ordered cognac), smooth leather, and great heel hight. I ordered the wide because that's all that was left in stock, and even though I never wear a wide, it still worked. I was also concerned about the calf part because I often have the problem of having way too much room there in boots. I have smallish calves, but these still fit great! So glad I ordered them! Great price for what you are getting.
I kept running into the problems most of my fellow shorties have mentioned re: boots. I am 5 ft 2 and a lot of boots give me awkward knee fat. These are the perfect height on my legs and come just below my knee. Super comfy and look adorable sans tights with a dress and with some tucked in skinnies.
Love Love! :) They do run a tad bit small IMO and I went up a size.

At 5 feet tall with short legs, I look forever for boots that don't hit my knees. This is one of the very few ever found that work. Cute style and soft leather. I'm giving it four stars because the heel is very high for a size four, resulting in a steep pitch. (And I always wear heels!). I took them to a shoe repair shop that cut 1/4 inch off of the heels which actually makes a difference. Still pretty high for a short shoe, but wearable. I wanted a brown but the cognac and rust were very similar and both just too red. I don't know why they they don't make a true chocolate or just a rich brown. I got the black and they are fine.
