I ordered these boots based on the rave reviews from petite gals. I'm 5'1'' so finding taller boots that aren't eating my knees is a challenge. I ordered the rust color which I thought would be great for fall and would transition well into spring. The leather is soft and the color is even better in person. My calves are 14 inches around so I was nervous these wouldn't zip up but I had no problems, even with skinny jeans on... hooray! Happy dance!
On a side note, I did order the 5.5 but I think the 6 would have been a slightly better fit #and would have allowed for thicker socks#. Still, I'm very happy with my purchase and only wish they had my size in black as well!

I love this boots. The collar cut-out design gave you extra room compare to regular boots with the same shaft circumference. Although they say wide does not mean the wide calf, I found 6W gave me more room to fit my calf than 6M. The length is perfect for a petite girl too. Although the shaft length was measured as 13 1/4" long, when I wore them, the shaft length was measured a little bit more than 14" , which it is perfect for me. The leather is soft, very comfortable to wear.

I've been searching for boots that fit good for a very long time. I was about to give in and buy Frye's when I found these! I'm very happy with the fit! I'm a 6.5/7, and the 7 fits perfect.
