The quality of the belt leather is great. It has this real vintage rugged look because of the perforations. The color is a little darker than the displayed image, but veritably, this would of happened naturally as the belt developed a patina.
Only criticism is that that you should order the belt size equivalent to waist. Typically retailers suggest you purchase 2 sizes above your waist, in this case, my 32" belt, did not really tighten my size 30 pants.
Maybe I just need to put on some weight. Excellent belt nonetheless.
Been eying this belt for a while to go with my Walnut Strands and finally snagged one during the Anniversary Sale. I was expecting a nice bag/box with the belt (supposedly thats how it is shipped if purchased from Allen Edmonds directly) but mine came in a plastic zip lock bag with a Nordstrom sticker on it. No big deal, belt was brand new and no scuffs etc. Plus AE offered to send me the cloth bag after speaking with a CSR. Belt is TRUE TO SIZE. Some reviews say that is small but this wasn't the case. For example my actual waist is about 38 in; usually buy pants in a 36 because of the vanity sizing that goes on; bought the belt in a 38 and it fit perfect.
Also color is a bit off from the Walnut Strand but not very noticeable unless you are comparing side by side. When wearing its hard to tell
I have black suiit that I want it to wear it little more casual look so I purchaset brown color belt and brown color shoes. the turn out to ne perfect casual look to wear on the date. and this belt quality is great.thick and heavy. great belt.
An absolutely beautiful belt made out of lovely leather that will match your dark brown shoes--Allen Edmonds or otherwise. Not sure I'd pay full price for it, but at 33% off it was a reasonable buy.
