the tip of the belt is a bit darker than the rest of the belt. It's only about an inch of the belt but I thought it was strange so I went to the store to exchange it and they all were a few shades darker in the same area. Other than that it's a beautiful belt.

Haven't worn it out yet-- just at home on a pair of jeans. But it looks beautiful and I would recommend it.
