Good looking shoes and great fit

The shoes fit to size, not sure why a lot of the reviews said they ran a half size bigger, this is my second pair I bought in a different color, the pictures look good but even better once I wore them.

Great overall boot

I ended up going with the non wingtip version just because I had a few factory defects with the wing tip ones, overall the same boot and fit. These baby's are basically timeless classics. They take a little bit to break in as with any leather boot but look great dressed up and dressed down.
For sizing, definitely size down at least a full size… I wear a 12 in regular tennis shoes and ended up going with a 10.5.

Prosnot evenly sewn, on the tops of, 8 pairs of boots
I have ordered eight (8) pairs of these fabulous looking shoes (Brown and Tan) and returned them with sadness and humility to Nordstrom's: Bless their heart and return policy, but not good with Wolverine! The top of the shoe that the laces go through is not sewn on evenly on each boot. One top is more to the left or to the right, and they are not even, and they are noticeable! Nordstrom's shoe Manager's have seen these and agree they are not symmetrical. I called Wolverine for them to actually LOOK at the pair they would be sending and then NOT send them to me if they are asymmetrical, and their answer was: "These shoes are hand-made and may not be even". I said if the Cobbler sewed them like that, then let them go out to the public, that was not right. Would your auto mechanic allow so much variance if they install parts on your car? I have a pair of size 9 1/2 that are symmetrical, and merely wanted a size 9. I asked Wolverine if they would remember my name, check the size 9 boots and see if they are symmetrical. The couldn't/wouldn't and told me of their return policy where I have 30 day return for another pair. So I am aghast that I am playing the farce of ordering two (2) pairs of boots, in hope I may salvage a symmetrically sewn pair for my use. I now after 2 months and 8 pairs: I DO NOT HAVE A PAIR OF BOOTS THAT ARE EVENLY SEWN ON THE TOP!!! I've spoken to the Regional Rep also about this issue and am not at all satisfied with Wolverine!
