One of the best pairs of boots I've purchased. Super comfortable right out of the box. No break in period needed. The detail and craftsmanship are excellent. Looking to buy another pair in brown.

My review is for the TAN color, as black hasn't been a fashionable accessory very frequently in my wardrobe. I wanted a USA made boot, but found these were from China but reduced by $100 before Xmas. Had an issue that the toe cap was not on straight and symmetrical. Sent back, it is better. This is a walking shoe, and provides silent attitude of "Gentry" to those who look. Watch how people walk by you with their eyes aghast at your kicks! Butter soft and cushioned insole provide a very, very comfortable boot. I honesty haven't worn it much to give a thorough review, but maybe size 8.5 is better for my 9.5 E feet, as the 9 might be a tad too big. As I have spent $1000 for boots for me this XMAS, I must mention that Wolverine customer is merely business oriented, and haven't shown me they will go the distance with a customer as NORDSTROM has done. Wolverine hasn't cared that their people pull asymmetrical boots off their shelf and send them out to customers. Of course, their boots are hand-crafted, but if I can discern asymmetry in a boot,then the Cobbler let it go out to the public and therefore SHAME ON YOU WOLVERINE! Actually, I recently sought NORDSTROM for boots and their policy: I will always purchase from them at Valley Fair, San Jose! I will pay whatever the price for shoes as I will keep them and have them resoled. Allen Edmonds has some bit chin' boots that fit like a glove for my 9.5E feet. Anyway, hold manufacturers accountable for what they throw out at us in the name of "Made in the USA", because there are a handful of other USA boot makers around: SHAME ON YOU WOLVERINE! But, you will like these boots!!!
Like most wolverine boots, but not all, size down 1/2 to to full size. I went half size, then exchanged them for a full size smaller than my normal size. The boots are awesome though. I love them. They are quality and comfort and beauty all in one. They are also unique to most hipster boots out there in their coloring. Plus having higher topped boots is awesome and makes them standout. Love them.
Buy these boots! Fit like a glove for my size 13. Instantly comfortable. Don't dawdle. Order them.without a second thought. I'm a shoe and boot fanatic. These may be the nicest and most perfectly fitting boots I own. Charlzzz
