This shirt was recommended by a tailor who worked for decades at SAKS flagship store in NYC. After the shirt arrived and I tried it on, it was clear why he recommended it.

Very good - has removable buttons

There are not a ton of choices with tuxedo shirts, especially pleated shirts with french cuffs.
This shirt runs a little big in the main portion, although sleeve length and neck are true to size, but if you are wearing it under a jacket it is just fine. Plenty of length in the body for a long torso.
Most importantly - and my reason for this review - is to advise that most of the buttons in the front ARE removable for use with button-studs (such as an Air Force Mess Dress). I don't normally use studs other than military formal wear, but I was surprised and delighted this shirt has them (it does not state so in the description, which it should). The buttons work like normal buttons until you need to remove them, so if you are not using studs then you just ignore the remove part.
Overall very good shirt, and since it has many features not commonly found, is a clear five star shirt.

Tux Shirt

Prostux shirt
This purchase was a replacement for another J. Nordstrom tux shirt that had worn out. I am extremely pleased with the ease of shopping on line and the fast shipment. The on-line instructions to determine the proper size worked great and the shirt is exactly as I expected.
I'll definitely be a repeat shopper for other fine items in the Nordstrom's on line men's department. Thanks, Larry
