Great looking classic pair of Allen Edmonds

I purchased these shoes to wear with jeans and while they are a little more formal being wing-tips, I could not imagine wearing them with anything but jeans. They formed well to my feet and very quickly broke in. Initially I used pads under the tongue to make them a little more snug but quickly did away with those (I wear a 13EEE). I get compliments from people every time I wear them and my feet have not gotten tired or achey when wearing them on longer walks through cities (I travel a lot). I own 8 pairs of AE's and these have quickly become my favorite.

Love the McTavish!

I love the McTavish for the rough look, putting a spin on the classic wingtip shoe. I own a pair in black, natural wax, and the cognac. I will wear these with suits and often get compliments, or you can dress them down and wear them with jeans. When you're on a business trip and space is a premium, these are my go-to shoes for that very reason. They're comfortable, stylish, American made, and meet my every need. I'm so glad I finally found a great American shoe company that makes shoes I actually want to wear!

Excellent, Highly Versatile Dress Shoe

I bought these shoes about 6 months ago and I absolutely love them. They are very versatile, as they look great with a suit or with a nice pair of jeans. This is my second pair of Allen Edmonds shoes...I bought the first about 10 years ago and still wear them to this day (after the great refurbishing service). I love the comfort, craftsmanship and look of this brand!

Extremely Versatile and Eye-Catching

I was looking for a pair of wingtips that gave off a more casual vibe, something that would go well with jeans and more casual outfits. So, I picked up the tan McTavish, and it truly delivers. They get attention and compliments every time I wear them, and I think it's because they perfectly blend timeless lines with modern style. I was so pleased that I picked up the cognac color too.
The only thing I'd mention is that they run a little looser around the heel than other 5-last shoes. Partially due to the stiff sole and rougher leather, I noticed a bit more heel slip before they broke in. It might be worthwhile to size them separately from other 5-last shoes, but they are definitely worth picking up once you find your size.
