Love These Shoes!

I am a huge AE fan. I own 5 or 6 pair of their dress shoes. McTavish is my first casual shoe in the Rough Collection. I wear them with jeans on Friday's... And they look amazing! I get compliments from women and believe it or not, even a fashion conscious guy in the elevator. They have pop and a cool factor I have never had with any other casual shoe. Can't wait to try other colors. If you only get one pair of AE's for casual or even a dress down suit, you won't regret this investment. Be sure to keep them in a good pair of cedar shoe trees and only use AE shoe creams. These shoes will last a lifetime.

I researched enough on the shoe to know that I needed to order a full size down. The last it's made on is extremely long and narrow. I usually wear an 11D, but ordered these in a 10E. They fit perfectly. I did have to send the first pair back because of a quality control issue. Of course, it was handled properly and I received my replacement pair speedily. This shoe looks, feels, wears, and smells amazing. This is my #1 go to shoe for a casual outing with the wife.

My husband only wears Allen Edmonds and he is always a 10EEE. Like the other reviewers, he found they ran big and had to exchange these for a 9.5 EEE. He says they are extremely comfortable - they also look great both with slacks and jeans.

The style, detail, and craftsmanship is amazing, but they're just too big. The width fits fine it's the length that is awkwardly large. I've worn them once, so I will be keeping them, but not sure I'll be able to enjoy the Allen Edmonds work as much as I hoped.
