I just received them and they were exactly want I wanted . The fit the color were on the mark. And the feel and workmanship was outstanding being a person that likes to get best . Your company nailed it on the head . And the delivery time was fast. Also just a note: I had gone to the East Hampton N.Y. store and they offered to help me and they did a good job . Not being pushily . They handed me the catalog and offered to place the order for me. But I did at home . I most say great job and yes . You have a >>>>>>CUSTOMER FOR LIFE <<<<<<<. And let's not forget PROUDLY MADE IN THE U.S.A. THANK YOU.

I really love the idea and spirit of this shoe, but the quality fell short of what I expected from Allen Edmonds.

I purchased this shoe in black. The look, fit and comfort were and are very good, as expected. My concern, however, is in the quality of the construction. I wore this pair of shoes only once, and when I removed them that evening, I saw that the heels on both shoes was pulling away from the sole slightly. The problem continues to get worse with each wear. I seriously considered returning the shoes all together, but since I've had them for a little while now, I suppose I'll just need to get them repaired. As a result, I don't wear the shoes as much as I would like to. It's frustrating to spend a little more, expecting to get a little more, and have the quality disappoint you. As much as I love Allen Edmonds shoes, I have a bad taste in my mouth from this last purchase.

It is useless to own any dress shoes besides AEs, you just can't find anything better. These shoes are a great choice if you're looking for something to straddle between dress shoes and casual shoes. These look great with wool slacks, to khakis, to jeans. A little polish, and they're as fine as any shoe out there, scuffed a bit, and the don't look out of place as an everyday shoe. They're also as comfortable as gym shoes on me, and no synthetic junk to make your dogs get hot. Built like a tank, I'll prolly be buried in these shoes ...and I'm just 40!
