My absolute favorite of all my Allen Edmonds

This is an awesome shoe that I recommend to all my friends. They go great for work and a pair of jeans. I have the Clifton's the Players the Hampton's and the Embarcadero's but these are the best ones yet.
Used to be a Cole Hahn and Johnston Murphy guy but now I have nothing but Allen Edmonds---worth every penny

Beautiful shoes. Everyone wants my shoes. Also bought it in black with the red stiching. Great look. Have worn both in dress up and casual mode. Makes and completes the look. Too many compliments to count. These shoes are sly, slick and wicked. Gonna buy the grey ones. Want them in all the colors and configurations.

Beautiful, quality shoe; takes time to break in

I love the look of these shoes. I wear them with jeans, khakis, and with dress pants as well.
They are very well made. I was immediately impressed with the construction when I opened the box.
They have taken a while to break in, though. The double oak sole is so thick and stiff that it doesn't bend easily. As a result, it hurts the outside of my foot right at the middle of the arch. I have had these for a few weeks and it is getting better, but it is still uncomfortable after a long day.
I have a pair of Park Avenues which I understand are built on the same last. I do not have the same problem with them. Thus I attribute the soreness to the thickness of the sole.
Today I am wearing my confortable Wilberts.

Excellent Value and Versatile Shoe

This shoe has a unique design as an updated classic shoe. The balance of the sole and heel with the uppers is phenomenal. This shoe is the most versatile. It can be worn with almost anything i.e., dress pants, jeans. and khakis. It pairs well with most any style of dress with the exception of formal wear. The insole is made so your foot doesn't slide back and forth..Overall I rate the fit and comfort above most shoes in this category.
