Beautiful shoe with suit or jeans

When I saw the ad come to my inbox for the Black McTavish with brown stitching and a handsome brown sole I had to have them. This is the best pair of shoes I've ever owned, and I even got a compliment from a random stranger at a conference last week. :)
This is my second pair of Allen Edmonds, and would have been my last had this order not gone smoothly. My first pair of Allen Edmonds were sold to me inside the store, but because they didn't have the wide size, I had to get them shipped. Unfortunately, the sales guy didn't know what he was talking about when he assured me that I only needed an E when I needed an EEE (as evidenced once I ordered these shoes). As a result of THIS successful purchase, I now realize the error and am not satisfied with that original purchase. I ate the cost and marked it up to my own stupidity for not questioning the sales guy when he said that quality shoes are supposed to run small. Whatever. As I said, this time I ordered a EEE and it fit beautifully. The moral of the story: don't let some retail sales guy -- no matter how well he's supposedly trained in the product -- talk you into something you don't think is quite right, and if it ain't exactly right, take it back.

Comfortable, Good-looking Shoe

This is a great-looking shoe which will give your casual attire that understated elegant look. I hesitated to purchase these shoes online because I have problems with fitting due to bunions. However, the fit was perfect from the start and although it will be a bit before they are fully broken in, they are comfortable from the initial wearing. I've already received compliments on the looks. And of course, they are built to last. I like these shoes so much that I am now going to buy a pair of Strands for business attire.

A very beautiful shoe that looks great with a casual (jeans, etc.) outfit. I find the shoe runs 1/2 size small.

A stylish casual addition to my collection

My size is 15 4a so I have limited options in footwear. My father wore Allen Edmonds, I have worn them exclusively for over 35 years and now my sons agree that they are stylish, fit well and are very comfortable. I recently purchased the McTavish and find that they look great with khakis and jeans. Moreover, as always, the fit is perfect making them comfortable all day. Thank you for offering such a fabulous shoe in such an unusual size.
