Great Looking - Not Comfortable

Best looking shoes with jeans. Can't beat it.
The toe box is a little snug. Get it fitted at the store.
The heel is junk. It has worn out faster than any heel I have owned.

These shoes look great with jeans or suit, and polish up nicely. I bought in a 13B since I have a narrow foot. Hasn't stretched like my Park Avenues (I suspect a different last) so doesn't feel great.
Unfortunately, the leather loops that hold the straps have frayed badly despite my careful efforts. I have seven pairs of AEs and haven't had this issue, so disappointing experience.

Disappointing for an AE shoe, especially at this price

I am an AE fan, but this shoe was a real disappointment. I have owned a dozen pairs of AE shoes over the last 20 years and was always an advocate..
The shoe skimps on quality touches I have come to expect from AE. The edges of the leather are rough, really cut in below the ankles for discomfort. In looking at other brands at this price and style, they have it.
I bought these off the website, my lesson learned is make sure I look at AE shoes in person from now on.

quality control issue

Colour on both the pair doesnt match and one out of the box had crease at the front realy disapointed with this purchase. Please upgrade quality control . I love allen edmonds and will buy my 7th pair soon
