Looks good, but very uncomfortable

These are a great looking pair of shoes, no questions about that (especially the burnished brown color). However, they are nowhere as comfortable as the park aves, and are still causing blisters on my toes and heels even after a couple months. As others have mentioned, they tend to squeak and still remain very stiff.
I now only wear them when I am willing to suffer for the sake of vanity, but those times are few and far between.

Love the design - but serious flaws

The shoes look great and I love the way they look with all types of trousers and clothing styles. However they are SQUEAKYYYY and take forever to break in. I have had mine for 2 months and it has taken this long to stop getting blisters on the outer part of my left ankle where the edge of the shoe hits. The squeakiness though continues and is because the strap and the tongue are always in relative motion and rubbing against each other. The heel is precariously attached to the sole and I can see some separation taking place which I address with a light hammering - something which I am not terribly pleased to have to do with an AE shoe.

Worst Pair of AEs I have ever bought

I have worn AEs for over 20 years and swear by them. Being a heavy traveler, I wanted a new pair of shoes that was easy on easy off, and would work nicely from business casual to suit and tie.
I chose the Norwich ... and i chose wrong.
I have now had two pairs of these (Brown and Black) since September. They wear and fit exactly the same...small. They simply will not break in - they remain stiff as the day is long They cause blisters on my heels (note i have never had a pair of AEs cause blisters)
I would not recommend these shoes at all to anyone.
I have shelved these permanently because i cannot wear them.

I love my Norwich shoes!

After a long search for just the right pair of black shoes that I could wear with a suit or a dark pair of jeans I decided on the Norwich. These are very comfortable and always look sharp. You will be pleased if you pick up a pair.
