[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These dress boots have no comparison - the quality and style combination is a bullseye. I hear AE has discontinued this boot - glad to have a pair before they disappear. The dress eyelets are difficult to find in a boot - I hope AE makes replacement style.
The fit was a half size long compared to two other AE pairs that I win. However once fitted they are perfect - study, sure-footed and elegant. The infused soles are a plus in this boot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First dress boot and have several other AE shoes. The fifth street are extremely comfortable from day 1. Amazed how easy these were to break in. The style is perfect for a boot and are extremely versatile in a suit or out on the town. I did get these in a slightly wider width.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful boot that looks like a dress shoe with a suit. Clean and sleek with detail of generations past. I thought the ankle top might have caused some rubbing until the shoe was broken in but it didn't and other than the normal stiffness of being new they were comfortable right out of the box. I love buying a pair of shoes that I know I can own and wear for 30-40 years or more. Proper care and recrafting ensure this shoe will last a life time. Well worth the price when you consider the average shoe cost 1/3 to 1/2 of the AE and usually only lasts 4-5 years.
