A boot style of the classic shoe.

The size fits true to the last. The boot required a little 'comfort' break-in and has become a regular in my rotation. I'm working on the polishing at the moment. I'll buy this in other colors.

Excellent Dress Boots

This is my 5th out of 6 pairs of Allen Edmond shoes and I've had them for about a month at this point. All of my Allen Edmond shoes have been size 10 D as were these. I did notice a slight bit more room in the width which turned out well since I'm getting arthritis in my feet and the extra room allows me to wear my thicker, cushioned socks. The higher top of the boot style hides that when I'm wearing a suit or business casual at work. The shoes broke-in very quickly and by the third day of wear they fit so comfortably that I didn't give them another thought.

Excellent, stylish and unique

I have been wearing Allen Edmonds shoes for 25 years and currently have the McNeil in shell cordovan, the Thayer, Shelton, Strand, Brewster, and two pair of Waltons. I had been wanting a pair of boots and was leaning toward the Daltons, but something about the Fifth Street caught my eye. I decided to get them in burnished brown, and am so glad that I did.
These are great looking, comfortable and unique. They are surprisingly light weight for a boot. The burnished brown color is quite dark and will go with many different pant colors. I plan on wearing these mostly with wool pants. Some may prefer a balmoral boot that's a bit taller, similar to those crafted by a few European and English manufacturers. I quite like the height of these Fifth Street boots and think that they'll get more wear as a result of the slightly lower height. Overall, I am very pleased and highly recommend these stylish boots.

Too narrow

These boots tend to be narrow than your normal sizing. I bought this style online. However, I have to return it. I wish that the website provides more detail description on the boot. So, I do not have to return it.
