Beautiful boots!

These take a while to arrive but are worth the wait. They are beautiful boots and exactly what's in style now. My office is rather conservative, but I'm comfortable wearing them to work. And they're great for Saturday nights.

I obviously thought I'd like these boots when ordering them, but I've been stunned by just how much I am enjoying them. They may well be the most comfortable dress footwear I own and were broken in by noon the first day I wore them. These are a home run.

I got my first pair of AE shoes a couple of years ago, I used my wedding as an excuse to invest in some lifetime quality black dress shoes (5th avenue). I have since added 2 more AE pairs, a Parliament and these 5th Street. My only disappointment from AE is in the sizing. Per those metal shoe foot measuring devices I am spot on a 9.5D, however a 65 last 9.5D shoe is HUGE on me. My 5th Avenue is an 8.5E and fits like it was custom made for my foot. The 5th street I got at an outlet and they are a size 8 EEE, and while the fit is not as perfect as the 8.5E 5th Ave, they are still very comfortable and fit better than most shoes. This would make me nervous to order a shoe from another last since the sizing seems so inconsistent.
In any event, the 5th street boots as others have said look stellar, with a little break in time are quite comfortable and supportive. I wish AE would extend the low boot style to some other shoes, such as a balmoral wingtip.
Also, the pair I got at the outlet have a rubber overlay (base sole is leather) and I think this is a great idea based on it technically being a "boot" and fits my purpose of wanting a "winter dress shoe". I'd love to see more options and colors offered. I find them more comfortable overall than traditional dress shoes due to the extra support.
