A fine, fine boot

These are my favorite shoes for everyday wear. They fit like gloves (the fact that they run narrow is a real boon for my feet) and are nearly as supple, the leather is soft yet fairly water resistant, and the broguing adds enough visual interest to give them a distinctive focal point without compromising versatility. Especially for a climate like that in the Pacific Northwest, the oil-soaked leather sole and the higher tops mean real comfort and practicality. Once broken in, which does not take very long, one can reasonably cover six miles on foot without any discomfort at all. My only complaints are that I do not own a pair in another color, and the company only offers this style in brown and black.

I have owned these boots for 3 weeks and have had too many compliments to count! These are the most comfortable, most stylish, incredibly wonderful boots that I've ever owned. They are warm, but because they have leather soles, they don't get too hot. The leather is so supple that they were broken in less than two weeks after purchasing. The color brown is dark enough that you can get away with wearing a black belt, but looks perfect with brown. They are pricey, but the only regrets you'll have is not buying them sooner. I highly recommend.

Allen Edmonds never disappoints

I bought these Allen Edmonds shoes as a Christmas present. They are beautiful shoes. My husband loved them. If you are looking for a pair of dress shoes with some snap - these are the shoes.
