Absolutely stunning shoe

At first I was really torn between buying the McCallister's or springing for The Jefferson's. Well, let me know tell you when you try these bad boys on you can definitely tell where the extra money went! I own bedroom slippers that are not as comfortable as this shoe.
I went with The Jefferson in black calf to wear with my big boy suit. This wing-tip is my go-to shoe whenever the "serious" pin stripe suit is required at the office for an important meeting/presentation etc. I work with older gentlemen who still consider the wing-tip the ultimate dress shoe and have realized although I am young, classic will always trump fashion no matter what. You can't go wrong with this shoe, they are stunning and when you wear these you can let your shoes do all the talking! Thank you Allen Edmonds for such a wonderful shoe!

Incredible shoe...

I purchased several new AEs recently. You can definitely tell a difference in construction between these shoes and a non-Independence line shoe...which you should based on the extra $. The creasing in some 5 last Park/Fifth Ave shoes I tried was uncomfortable on me (some were fine), but the leather seems better (thicker?) in this shoe and very comfortable bending across the top of my foot.
As someone else mentioned, I do feel a slight bump in the ball area of the left shoe. Not enough for me to return. I also noticed this in one Park Ave pair. Is the cork not being evenly spread? Regardless, it will probably flatten after some wear.

Fantastic pair of shoes !

This is not the first pair of Allen Edmonds shoes that I bought and I knew it would live to all my expectations. Indeed, it took a short breaking in time for them to feel really confortable. This model has an aura of quality and great style that does not goes unnoticed. I have bought them some seven months ago and it has been a perfect match to most of my suits. Sometimes I even wear them on casual Fridays. Taking care of this leather is easy and it looks even better as time goes by. Do not forget to buy the matching belt for better results.

Awesome balmorals, it breaks in almost immediately!!! I have these in dark brown. It matches the expectations that only AE can create. Dont forget the shoe care accessories, shoe trees are a must. Dont forget the matching belt!!! Spectacular shoes and very well done. The details are really good.
