Fit very well, and the service was excellent. If you are in Charlotte, ask Larry to fit your shoes, he does a great job and is personable.

2nd pair of Jefferson shoes do NOT compare to my first pair

About a month ago I ordered a pair of Jefferson shoes in Brown and found them to be a great, well made shoe. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair. This pair showed up with what appeared to be the incorrect insole installed and an uncomfortable bump in the left insole around the ball of my feet. My shoe store ordered another pair. The re-ordered pair arrived and to my disappointment; both have some sort of damage to the insole around the toe box area; it feels like a hole that has been covered over. I will be returning these. I am thankful for the pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes I currently have, however, the prospects for adding additional shoes are low.

Incredible attention to detail.

This is one of three pairs of AE shoes I ordered. The Jefferson is very well made and looks striking in Brown. The oak colored, double sole, looks incredible. The stitching is uniform and straight, the workmanship on this shoe is MUCH better than the McTavish and Strand.

Great Looking Shoe But Insole feels like a Rock

Its a pretty shoe, well built but it's insole feels like stepping on a rock.
I have tried using extra insoles but that makes the shoe feel tighter on my feet. Now I can't wear them anymores, so I just admire them sitting in my shoe rack.
I wonder if AE could advice.
