Quality at a price

These are shoes that should last many, many years with proper care. They feel as if they were custom fit to my feet with soft leather yet firm support. They are not inexpensive but need to be seen as a long-term investment that will last 2-3x as long as inexpensive shoes.

I love AE shoes and own 6 pairs. Bought these online and the fit was off (my other AE shoes are 8.5, this was 9 and still too small) so I sent back and asked for a larger size. Unfortunately no notification email came telling me that my return had been received, or when I could expect the new pair.

I bought the Jefferson in Walnut calf. Its a flat beautiful shoe out of the box. Truly gorgeous.
Equally amazing is that it was comfortable right out of the box. Fit was perfect and after walking about 100 yards these felt like slippers on the feet.
