I just got the Dalton in Brown and absolutely love it! Beautiful craftsmanship and high quality leather. I think the Brown is very versatile and I will get a lot of use out of it. It is already one of my favorites! I wore them last weekend for the first time and as expected they were a little squeaky and stiff but had already loosened up quite a bit by the end of the night. I highly recommend that you have this boot in you collection. It is a great boot in any color - I also have the Walnut and love it!

This was a great purchase! Looks great. Fits well. Craftsmanship is really fine. Quality seems to be great. Have only used it for a few weeks but it appears to function really well. I've already received lots of compliments on it.

Dark Chocolate Dalton boot
I just picked up my Dark Chocolate Dalton's and I am very happy with this boot. This is my first taller boot from AE (I have an ankle boot) and I like the feel. It is a much different feel than a shoe or even an ankle boot, but it is good. The boot fit me well - I bought the same size as 95% of my other AE's the these boots fit similarly.
The quality is great and I really like the style. They do not feel heavy on my feet. I was surprised how well these boots looked with the medium grey wool slacks I was wearing when I tried them on. These boots also look very nice with dark jeans, so they are very versatile.
These boots do have a leather sole, so they won't see a lot of severe weather use. But they will see a lot of use both at work and on the weekends.

I've owned my Daltons for about a year and could not be more satisfied. Quality, style, fit, comfort. And many compliments. Nice job AE.
